MIG/MAG RECTIFIER

MIG/MAG RECTIFIER

Also called Gas Shielded Metal Arc Welding, this process uses a consumable wire as one of the electrodes and involves shielding the arc with CO2 and various gas mixtures.Deoxidisers are usually present in the electrode which prevents oxidation of the weld pool.

MIG is a fast process that reduces spatter, provides greater control and produces very clean welds. It requires a DC power supply with reverse polarity.
